The Official Website of the Malaysian Bahá’í Community
building capacity for service.
“O people of God! Do not busy yourselves in your own concerns; let your thoughts be fixed upon that which will rehabilitate the fortunes of mankind and sanctify the hearts and souls of men. This can best be achieved through pure and holy deeds, through a virtuous life and a goodly behaviour.”
− Bahá’u’lláh −
Bahá’í communities are engaged in activities at the grassroots that drive the community building process. There are meetings that strengthen the devotional character of the community, classes that nurture the tender hearts and minds of children, groups that channel the surging energies of youth, and circles of study, which build capacity to serve.
These activities are open to all, and they enable people of varied backgrounds to advance on equal footing and explore the application of spiritual principles in their individual and collective lives.
Bahá’í activities and programmes are by nature inclusive and therefore open to everyone. It is common to see friends and neighbours freely and confidently participating as collaborators in the community building process.
